Arattai Business Platform Setup Checklist | Step-by-Step Guide

How to Set Up Arattai Business Platform: Step-by-step Checklist

Notes
Update, 5 October 2026: We're rolling out company verification in phases, so reviews may take a little longer for now. Meanwhile, set up API access and webhooks, build your workflows, and test them end to end with test recipients.

Seven steps take you from a new account to messaging real customers.

The Setup Checklist

Step 1: Verify Your Company

Until your company is verified, you are limited to one business and one number under it. You cannot invite other users into your account or apply for business verification. Before and during verification, you can add test recipients and try out the platform's features.

Step 2: Verify the Business

If your business is the same legal entity as your company, reuse the company's details and it is marked verified immediately. If not, add a separate set of official details to get verified separately.

Step 3: Add a Number and Set Up Its Profile

This is the phone number your customers message. The profile is what they see when they open your chat. Set the business account name, category, description and other profile details to show your business with rich context.

Step 4: Configure API Access Tokens and Webhooks

Tokens let your systems call the Arattai Business Platform API. Webhooks let Arattai notify your systems when something happens, such as a message being delivered or a customer replying.

Step 5: Add Test Recipients and Try Your Workflows

Test recipients are real Arattai accounts you verify once, then message freely with any template, including ones that have not been approved. No wallet credits are consumed. Use them to test your automations end to end before a customer ever sees them.

Step 6: Start Interacting with Customers

Once you are verified, customers can reach you by phone number, by scanning a QR code or opening a link, or by searching your username.

Step 7: Get Your Display Name Verified (optional)

A verified display name carries a badge. This is optional but recommended.

Everything above, plus invite users and add more businesses

Message real customers from that business

NotesNote: We manually review and verify each business before enabling it to use the Arattai Business Platform. This verification helps us ensure that businesses using the platform are legitimate and meet our requirements.
