How to Verify Your Company on Arattai Business Platform

How to Verify Your Company on Arattai Business Platform

Notes
Update, 5 October 2026: We're rolling out company verification in phases, so reviews may take a little longer for now. Meanwhile, set up API access and webhooks, build your workflows, and test them end to end with test recipients.
Verification unlocks your ability to message real customers. Until your company is verified, you are limited to test recipients. The process takes 3 to 5 working days once you submit, but you can keep building in the meantime.

Before you start

Verification happens in two stages:
Company first, then each business under it. You cannot verify a business until the company is approved. If your company and business are the same legal entity, the business gets auto-verified the moment the company is approved, so you only go through the wizard once.

Verification Process

Step 1: Start Verification
In the left sidebar, select Company Info. You will see a prompt to verify your company. Select Verify Company, then select Start Verification to begin.
Your progress is saved after each step, so you can close and come back at any point.

Step 2: Fill in Your Business Details
The first screen asks for four things:
  • Legal name - this must match your official registration documents exactly, character for character, including punctuation. This is the most common reason applications get rejected, so double-check before moving on.
  • Display name - the trading name your customers know you by. This can be a brand or trade name and does not have to match your legal name.
  • Company type - choose from Private Limited, Public Listed, LLP, Government entity, Sole proprietorship, or Partnership. Both Sole proprietorship and Partnership can be Registered or Unregistered.
  • Registration number - search by GSTIN, MSME UDYAM, PAN or CIN. Use whichever gives you the closest match.

Step 3: Add Your Business Address
Enter your registered business address: street, PIN code, country, state and city. Use the address that appears on your registration documents and address-proof, reviewers will check that these match.

Step 4: Contact Information
Add a working phone number for the business. A website is optional, but it gives reviewers useful context and can speed things up.

Step 5: Prove You Are Authorised to Represent the Business
This step confirms you have the right to submit on the company's behalf. You have two ways to do this:
  1. Option 1: Website domain verification Download the verification file Arattai provides and upload it to your business website. Arattai checks that the file is live and reachable. Note that the file is only valid for 48 hours, so complete this step in one go.
  2. Option 2: Documents Upload a government-issued photo ID (front and back). If you are not a listed director or owner of the business, you also need to include an authorisation letter on company letterhead signed by someone who is.

Step 6: Upload Your Verification Documents
You need two documents:
  • Business registration certificate - this can be an incorporation certificate, trade licence, or GST/VAT registration. It confirms your business legally exists.
  • Proof of your business phone number - a utility bill, bank statement or lease that shows both the business name and the number you entered in the previous step.
Files can be PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB each. Before you submit, you will be asked to confirm that the documents are genuine and that you authorise Arattai to verify your details.

Submit and Wait
Once all six steps are complete, select Submit for review. Your status changes to Verification in process. From here, Arattai's team takes over and you will hear back within 3 to 5 working days. If they need anything else, they will email you.
While you wait, you are not blocked. You can keep linking numbers, building templates, creating mini apps and messaging test recipients. The only thing still gated is sending to real customers.
If you spot a mistake after submitting: open the verification details and select Withdraw verification review before moderation completes. This puts your application back into draft so you can correct and resubmit.

If Your Application Is Rejected

Arattai will email you the reasons. The most common issue is a mismatch between the legal name you entered and the name on your documents, even a small difference is enough to fail. Read the email carefully, fix what was flagged, and submit again. There is no limit on resubmissions.

How to Verify Your Businesses

Once your Company is verified, each business under it can be verified.

  1. Go to the Business.
  2. Find the business, select Verify Now in the Status column.
  3. Select Start Verification and follow the same steps as above.

If the business is the same legal entity as the company, just re-enter the same details, it will be marked verified immediately without waiting for review.
